Social media, technologies and the end of the world
Hi bloggers!
In this week's blog I will talk about a very particular topic that attracts my attention, as given in the title: Social media, technologies and the end of the world.
I remember that when I was a child, people communicated freely, children played in the streets and people respected each other. I think these customs have been lost today.
I have noticed that people spend more time with their phones than sociabilizing with other people.
Cell phones are like our minds. We don't work without cell phones. They have become our planners, our alarms, reminders, friends.
A few weeks ago, I lost my cell phone and I realized aaaaaaall the time I wasted while using it. Now, I'm able to use time effectively. I have more free time to see my old friends, my family, visit museums and do activities that I really like.
Social media and technological devices are consuming us.
Social networks have been transformed into our life diaries, we want to share all our day anecdotes, but we don't realize that we are really onnly exposing ourselves to unknown people.
Maybe we feel the need to save memories in an internet network, bur specifically we forget to live day to day.
We become people that we really aren't, and the worst part is that people thinks the know us, but in truth they only find one character that we have created.
I like to imagine what a world without social media, without technologies would be like, with people really knowing each other people. People interacting, socializing, living.
I think it is really negative how you are seeing technology and everything related to this, I personally think there can be a balance between technology and community life you have to know how to look for it!
ResponderEliminarThis is true. I would like to leave my phone and live without it, but society does not allow it.
ResponderEliminareveryone says that, but we are all part of the social media
ResponderEliminarwe weere born with technology, and it's a shame how realtions with social networks have been lost. Now it matters more a like than asking how you are?
ResponderEliminarI don´t remember the world before social media being that great haha. I was not interacting with more people than today. I think that today is easier to keep contact with the people that I love, so I disagree with you, sorry...
ResponderEliminarits amazing how dependent we are on phones, many times without realizing
